Name of Club: Mustang Chorus
Sponsor: Ms. Hoitt (rosemary.hoitt@leonschools.net)
Target Students: 4th & 5th grade students who love to sing.
Purpose of the Club: To provide extracurricular music instruction, specifically chorus, to students looking to participate in music outside of music class.
Cost of Club: $0
What do fees cover? N/A
When will the club meet? Tuesdays (3-4 p.m.)
Where will the club meet? Music Room
Other Note: Rehearsals will begin after school on 9/1. The group may travel to perform elsewhere (Westminister Oaks, Winter Fest, Honors Chorus).
Name of Club: Girls on the Run
Sponsor: Mrs. Nettles (cassie.nettles@leonschools.net) & Mrs. Walton (kayla.schleiger@leonschools.net)
Target Students: 3rd – 5th grade girls
Purpose of the Club: teaching girls life skills and how to apply them, working on self-confidence & self-respect, providing physical activity, and promoting anti-bullying
Cost of Club: $150
What do fees cover? 8 weeks of programming with trained coaches, curriculum materials, t-shirt, 5K event registration
When will the club meet? Tuesday & Thursday (3:00-4:30 p.m.) September 14th – November 15th

Name of Club: STEM Club
Sponsor: Mrs. Howard (lauren.howard@leonschools.net) & Mrs. Wolcott (katelyn.wolcott@leonschools.net)
Target Students: 4th & 5th grade students
Purpose of the Club: To encourage student involvement & understading in grade level science through hands-on learning
Cost of Club: $10
What do fees cover? supplies
When will the club meet? Tuesdays (twice per month)

Name of Club: National Elementary Honor Society
Sponsor: Mrs. Hayes (sharima.hayes@leonschools.net)
Target Students: 4th & 5th grade students (by invitation only)
Purpose of the Club: To recognize students who performed at levels 4 or 5 in ELA & Math of FAST testing, to promote leadership skills, and civic mindfulness
Cost of Club: $50
What do fees cover? t-shirts, field trip
When will the club meet? Mondays (once per month)
Where will the club meet? Mrs. Hayes’ Room
Other Note: Returning members will meet in September to plan induction ceremony
